2007-2008: $10,700.21
2006-2007: $10,061.84

The next budget meeting will take place during Committee of the Whole on June 3, 2009.
Council hopes to finalize the budget by the Council meeting on June 22, 2009.
Both of these meetings start at 9:00 a.m.

It is budget time again for municipal units in Nova Scotia and your Town Council has been working hard to evaluate our options for future years. On April 20, 2009, a large number of business owners and operators turned out to provide feedback to Town Council and to ask questions. We have posted the following documents on the website for the public to see.

The first is a four year budget. The second is a set of budget notes explaining the challenges that Council is facing and thoughts on how to deal with them. The presentation made by the business community on April 20, 2009 has been posted as well as a list of 33 questions. The Town's responses to these questions have also been included.

There will be another public budget meeting and as soon as the date has been set, it will be posted to this page.
