December 27 and 28 will be the next garbage pick up dates.
Bi-weekly household (curbside) collection takes place on every second Tuesday before 9:00 am for the Lower Town (below the former Railway bridge) and on every second Wednesday before 9:00 am for the Upper Town (above the former Railway bridge).
Garbage must be placed in green plastic bags and securely tied, with a limit of three (3) bags per household. In the case of a household and a business, you are allowed twice that, 8 bags of recyclables and 6 bags of garbage
Recyclables must be placed in clear or blue plastic bags. There is a maximum of 4 bags of recycleables. Cardboard must be flattened and tied into bundles. (DO NOT PUT CARDBOARD OUT IF IT IS LIKELY TO BE RAINED ON - SAVE FOR ANOTHER TIME. IT IS NO LONGER RECYCLABLE IF IT GETS WET).
