Town of Annapolis Royal

The Town of Annapolis Royal is Nova Scotia's smallest municipality. It is governed by a Mayor and five at-large Councillors, chosen by election every four years. Any Town resident whose name is on the voters' list is eligible to run for office. Regular Council meetings are on the third Monday of every month at 7 p.m., unless otherwise advertised. Special Council meetings may be called as necessary. Members of the public are welcome at all Council and Town Committee meetings.
