Town of Annapolis Royal

Annapolis Royal is located near the western end of the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia, Canada. If you're coming to Annapolis Royal from Halifax, take Highway 101. Travel 200 km to exit 22. From the exit, turn right and go another 8 km on Highway 8 until you are in Annapolis Royal. When you reach the Town boundary, Highway 8 becomes St. George Street, which runs straight through the Town.

You have the option of leaving Highway 101 at many points in your westward trip to follow Highway 1.This is the more scenic route, and it's a great way to visit many of the small Towns of the Annapolis Valley. To find Annapolis Royal, just continue West on Evangeline Trail (Highway 1) until you arrive at the Causeway and the Visitor Information Centre. At the Town boundary, Highway 1 becomes Prince Albert Road.

If you are coming from Digby or Yarmouth, follow highway 101 and take exit 23. Follow Highway 1, past Upper Clements Park and you will arrive in Annapolis Royal at the traffic lights on the corner of Highway 1 (Prince Albert) and St. George Street.
