Hospitals and Health Services

The Annapolis Community Health Centre is a 24/7 emergency centre with four inpatient beds and various specialist services. Located in a beautiful historic town surrounded by a picturesque rural community, the Health Centre provides services vital to the health and wellness of the area's population.

Police Department

The Town of Annapolis Royal is served by a three-man police force, headed by Chief Ross Campbell. The Police Department operates from an office in the Town Hall, 285 St. George St.

Fire Department

The Annapolis Royal Volunteer Fire Department operates out of the Fire Hall at St. Anthony St. For many years, brave volunteers have been working hard to make sure the residents of Annapolis Royal are safe from fire.

Ambulance Service

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) uses ambulances to respond to medical emergencies. Through a variety of hospital health services, EMS ensures respectful care and transportation of sick and injured people.

Ambulances act as emergency rooms on wheels and are outfitted with technically advanced medical and rescue equipment. Ambulances are staffed with medical/rescue specialists known as paramedics and EMTs.
