| Wharf extension and floating dock |
Dave Parsons of dps Atlantic is completing a business plan to determine what potential the wharf would have with a 75 foot extension and a floating dock and marina. A very successful public meeting was held on April 2, 2008, with over 160 people in attendance. |

| Sustainable community development plan |
A plan to address climate change and energy management issues (including solar heat, geothermal technology, wind energy, etc.). Parks Canada, Clean Annapolis River Project, Home Hardware, Mrs. Nicholson Inc., Corinne Frantel, the Annapolis Heritage Society, Nova Scotia Power Inc., COGS, Federation of Canadian Municipalities Green Fund, and others are partnering with the Town on this project. |
Work is underway with CARP in the lead for most of the project. Completion of plan: 2008 |
| Replacement Public Works Building |
Work has begun on concepts and design for an energy efficient building. An architect’s proposal to develop a program for a new building was reviewed and accepted for the 2008-2009 budget year. |

| Strategic Planning |
Three public meetings were held in November and written submissions are being accepted up to the end of December 2007. All of the input received to date may be viewed on the Town’s website. |
A new tourism vision and strategy were unveiled at the November 29, 2007 public meeting. Council has asked staff to begin incorporating the new vision into the Town’s strategic plan. Some elements are already in the strategic plan (eg. the wharf project). The new tourism strategy calls for many partners to take on various elements of the plan. |

| Water and sewer service to the property line of new subdivision behind Fire Hall |

| Skateboard Park |
The members of the Annapolis Bikes, Blades and Boards Association have identified a site behind the parking lot for the Ducks Unlimited French Basin Trail that appears to be acceptable to the prospective neighbours. Holding for date for a public meeting. |

| Crosswalk at Babineau Heights |
The crosswalk will be built as soon as weather conditions permit. At the same time, necessary repairs to the sidewalk leading from St George Street to the wheelchair ramp at 6 Drury Lane will also be made. |

| King’s Theatre structural repairs |
Over the last 2 years, the Town has completed necessary structural repairs in the basement. It is anticipated additional work will be required in three years’ time. |

| Land behind the Legion |
Town owned land has been cleared and is being drained and surveyed. An appraisal will then be completed and the land will be advertised for sale. |
