Annapolis Royal Fire Department

The Annapolis Royal Volunteer Fire Department operates out of the Fire Hall at St. Anthony Street.

For many years, brave volunteers have been working hard to make sure the residents of Annapolis Royal are safe from fire.

Over the years, many volunteers have been putting together a booklet that tells the history of the Fire Department, covering the years 1811 to 2004.

At this time we are aware that this book is not complete, as material and department records are missing. Thus records are not complete or up-to-date.

If anyone is searching to see if their family members served in the Annapolis Royal Fire Company or the Annapolis Royal Volunteer Fire Department, we hope this book will help you.

If anyone has any material to help us fill in the lost years and lost records (books - pictures - newspaper articles, etc.), we would greatly appreciate hearing from you.
