There will be a special Spring Clean-up and Fall Clean-up in the Town which will provide curbside pick up for special items that are generally "garbage" but can't be included in your regular green bag collection. All items put out for this collection should be liftable by one person. Dates are usually in May and October: exact dates will be announced as the time approaches. Items you can put out for these collections include the following:

1. small household appliances
   
2. appliances containing freon must first have the gas removed by a qualified technician
   
3. furniture
   
4. scrap metal (except auto parts)
   
5. similar items
   
   

We will not collect the following: tires, batteries, hazardous waste or anything else that can be disposed of through other means.

Please separate items into metal, wood and other and place in bundles of a size one person can handle.
