French School Initiative

April 20, 2012

Several families in the Digby/Bear River/ Annapolis Royal/Bridgetown area are interested in offering their children a French first-language education.

The CSAP (Conseil scolaire acadien provincial) fully supports the initiative to open a french school in this area. The challenge is to demonstrate to the Provincial Government that there is sufficient interest within the local population for a French school to be viable.

A Parent Committee was formed to help spread the word about this initiative and to recruit other interested families.
