The Annapolis Royal Wharf Association and the Town of Annapolis Royal have requested our assistance to prepare a feasibility plan and business plan for the proposed expansion of the Annapolis Royal Town Wharf. This $2 million plus project will be a significant undertaking for the Town, and as stakeholders and business people, we are seeking your suggestions, comments and input to assist us in dealing with the various levels of government and making this project a reality.

We are proposing a closed cell system of construction for the new wharf extension, similar to the existing structure, for maximum protection from wave action and storms. The face of the wharf will extend about 75 feet further into the Basin, which would effectively allow vessels of 45 to 50 foot length to use the facility at low tide. There would be a floating marina section, which would also allow pleasure craft owners to utilize the facility while vacationing in Annapolis Royal.

We have attached a simple survey form, which we ask you to complete and return as soon as possible, in order that we may better understand your wishes and feelings towards this project. The survey will also be greatly beneficial in securing the necessary funding and approvals to make this project a reality.
